Default What sort of sauce would you serve on this?

It's not your average roadkill:

http://tinypic.com/316w4ec.jpg

Biggest I've seen, alive or dead, since I got here.

I found it a short distance from the community mailbox
kiosk. I added the double sawbuck for scale. Though
I don't doubt the subject was packing a wallet...and
a gun...

Feed it to your chickens and make an omlet - usual sauces apply.

When I watch Meerkat Manor, I have to close my eyes when they show the
meerkats eating huge millipedes or scorpions. Ewwww.

Tastes like chicken.

(FTWAU, everything unusual tastes like chicken.
Chicken, however, rarely tastes like chicken.)

Supposed to taste just like shrimp. ;-)

We had a problem with those in one rent house back when I was a college
freshman. We solved the problem with a small flock of pet ducks.

The ducks swallowed them pretty much whole and did not hesitate!

They do indeed... and as I posted earlier, so do ducks!

The sting does not seem to affect them.

Hurts like hell!

I've been stung a few times, worst was on my hand between my fingers but
I was lucky at that. It was on a washrag in the shower.

The washrag was headed "elsewhere".

Nope. It's just illegal to try to use the picture as currency itself. You can
melt your coins, set your bills on fire, sew them into clothing, whaddever -
just don't try to spend them afterwards.

ITYHBT, but whatever you do, donut put anthrax on

oh my god that made me want to scream
and then vomit and scream again.
The worst thing I ever found in a shower was a big cockroach at my friend's
place in Austin. I made him come get it out for me. If I ever saw a scorpion
in the shower I would shit twice and die.

That's the truth, but lest anyone get the wrong idea,
it's not an inverse-proportionality thing, it's just
because this one, the Giant Desert Hairy Scorpion (hadrurus
arizonensis), is a different species from the Bark Scorpion
(centruroides exilicauda).

The Bark Scorpion's venom is a more toxic chemical, and
can kill very small children or the infirm.

The Giant Desert Hairy's poison is less toxic to humans,
and not known to be fatal, but you should still be treated
by a doctor if stung.

9 out of 10 scorpions in this area are Bark Scorpions.
I've only seen two Giants. And according to the internets
the record length for them would be the entire length of
that $20 bill...

Around here, the cactus wrens get most of them before
they can reach a size visible to anything other than a
cactus wren.

The memory still makes me cringe. ;-)
It's been over 20 years. I'm not overly fond of scorpions.

I did not see it until after it stung me.

I love wrens. :-) We have the small house wrens that are great bug
control. They like the birdhouse gourd houses that I put up for them.

And yet, it doesn't seem to be illegal to sell the photographs,
