Default OT/ Taking a Break

Hi All

I'm spending far too much time sitting in front of a
computer, and starting to repeat myself boringly endlessly
as well - so it's time for a break.

I've decided to unsubscribe on Monday morning (tomorrow) and
see you all again in a month or two when we have a new crop
of newbies to cajole and persuade and inform. I'll hang
around on the quieter a.s.d.uk a little longer just to keep
in touch.

So, in case it's longer than that, thanks to each and every
one of you. Too many to name. I honestly believe that you
wonderful people on m.h.d and a.s.d have saved my life -
even the ones I argued with caused me to think, learn and
research more. You should all be proud of yourselves for
keeping these groups going.

We may argue, and get bitchy, go OT and be trolled and
spammed - but in amongst all that is diabetes advice at the
cutting edge if you take the time to look for it. And some
great, caring, people.

Be proud of yourselves.

'bye all

Cheers, Alan, T2, Australia.

Don't walk behind me, I may not lead. Don't walk in front of
me, I may not follow. Just walk beside me and be my friend.

Take care, Alan! I for one will be thinking fondly of you while you're
away.

Wonderful choice for you, but we'll all be the poorer.

Happy trails... hope they lead back here.

Have fun. Smooch your favorite sweetie, or at least find a golden retriever
to throw tennis balls to and have jump up and smooch you.

Please do--the newbies do need to see that asking questions
is not guaranteed to deafen them with scatological excesses.

I spent 10 minutes this afternoon trying to get my retriever
to chase a ball. He is such a sook that he prefers to be
touched when a human is around rather than playing. They are
truly the best dogs

As well as the diabetes groups I have two of my ISP groups,
it is full on sometimes. The ISP groups - being Australian -
mean that the conversations are like being in a chat room,
answers come so fast. ASD is a hard group to keep up with I
think, especially when lots of people are looking for other
people's experiences. You can't give a 1 sentence answer, at
least this motormouth can't
