Hot Quinoa Breakfast Cereal

Recipe By :
Serving Size : 5 Preparation Time :0:00

Grains

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method
-------- ------------ --------------------------------
1 c Quinoa
2 c water
1/2 c Apples -- thinly sliced
1/3 c Raisins
1/2 ts Cinnamon



Rinse quinoa and add to water; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer
for 5
minutes. Add apples, raisins and cinnamon; simmer until water is
absorbed.
Serve with milk or cream and sweeten to taste with honey or brown
sugar.

Thanks! Might try that this winter. I bought some quinoa hot cereal. She
has never been much of a hot cereal eater though.
