Arrowhead Quinoa Tabouleh Recipe By : Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Salads Grains Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 2 c Cooked AM Quinoa 1 c Chopped parsley 1/2 c green onion 1 Garlic clove -- pressed 1/2 ts Basil 1/2 c Lemon juice 1/4 c extra virgin olive oil 1/8 ts salt 1/8 ts pepper Whole lettuce leaves Mix first 9 ingredients and place in a salad bowl lined with washed lettuce leaves. Refrigerate for at least two hours to let flavor blend. Fresh mint and black olives make nice garnishes for this dish. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Quinoa is 69% carbohydrates by difference with 6% of that being fiber. Increasing the parsley would lower carb count. 254g carbohydrate per recipe with 24g fiber and 48g protein |
