A goodly portion of sloes fell into my bag whilst I was out walking at
lunchtime : ) Normally I make sloe gin with equal weights of sloes and sugar, but another lifestyle change seems called for - would Splenda work, do you think? I need to combine gin, fruit and sweetener now, then stir often until New Years Eve, when it should be a potent, not too sweet liqueur.
