Default Update on my ERC problem...

Hello to everyone once again... I have good news to report. The repair man
called me last night, and said that the ERC came in and that he would be on
his way over to install it today... (I had to take the day off work, but
that's no problem). He got here around 1:00 o'clock, and it took him just
over an hour to replace it. During the process, he also noticed some of the
wiring was scorched, so he replaced that too. (at no additonal cost) There
were a total of 3 wires that had burn marks where they plugged into the
control, so he fixed them with some heavier gauge wiring... Other than
that, he gave the stove a clean bill of health and wished me luck with the
new controller. It comes with a one year warranty, so I guess I'll have to
keep my fingers crossed. The total cost was $256.95... Everything works
great now and before I pushed the stove back up against the wall, I gave it
a good cleaning and polished it up with some of the cooktop cream... It
looks (and operates) like new now... Hopefully, I won't have anymore
problems. Thanks again to everyone who responded!

Jordan
