Default Stainless steel flatwa What to get?

I need some new flatware.

Looked at some at Walmart and there was two kinds....
18/0 and 18/10

Can some one explain to me which "type" is best and
why?

The 18/10 has better corrosion resistance and a slightly different
appearance, and is considered "better".

Thanks Bert

Is Oneida as good as any of the manufacturers out
there?

It's hard to go by brand name these days. Nearly everything is made in
China. I think you have to look at the product and decide for yourself if
it meets your needs.

I have Dover by Oneida. I like nice flatware for everyday use.

Dover features delicate floral accents, and a heavy weight, with
full-handled knives. High polish finish, 18/10 quality.

Ill check into it

Im the type who likes good clean lines tho. Nothing
real frilly and fancy. Something maybe "hi tech"
looking or "modern"

Any thoughts one what to buy given that info?

I'd recommend going to the Gatherings web site.

There you will able to find good quality flatware at decent prices. I
believe Dover is in the Heirloom category which is somewhat pricey but there
are many categories (they definitely have "hi tech" or modern). I believe
the heirloom category prices are about $34.95 for a five piece place
setting.
