For those buying a new microwave oven
I read a post from a person who is replacing a 15 year old microwave, or radar
range as they called it. Now you have a perfectly good recipe book for cooking with half the power of the new one. What to do. Go to: http://www.microwavecookingforone.co...Directory.html There you will find a chart for converting old low powered recipes to new high powered ovens.

(You remember from the movie "Airplane," when Lloyd Bridges is in the control tower is tracking the plane's position, and the dialogue exchange goes something like this: "Check the radar range!" "It's still got about 12 minutes, chief." )
