Default Glassware storage

Hi Group

I've got some glasses (mainly in sets of 12) about 150 in total, and I'm
looking for a inexpensive storage system that I can use (to protect against
breakage in the event of minor earthquakes!) in existing cupboards (boxes /
trays with dividers and lids perhaps?) ... does anyone have any
recommendations where to look for these?

Cheers

Den

Actually this is the perfect time of year to ask this question... Look into
stores such as Walmart, Kmart, or other for storage boxes that come with
dividers and are sold for storing Christmas decorations.

Also considering your use of these boxes, you should probally place the
glasses in with the tops (opening) down into the sleeves, since most glasses
have some degree of slant in them. This will give more room at the tops in
case the units are rocked and tipped during a quake.

Default also....

If you have the means you could also consider purchasing the dish racks that
would be used in a commercial dishwashing machine. These units are stackable
as well and you can even purchase stainless stoarge carts for them to go
into.
