I am looking at buying a kitchen mixer but im not sure what sort to buy
i have two models in mind 1 the kitchen aid 2 the kenwood chef major i have a kenwood chef at the moment but it is starting to die it is older than i am but i have not had any experience with the kitchen aid and i was wondering if any of you good people out there could point me in the right direction. good or bad experiences i would like to know. i am looking at the larger sizes, as i make a lot of fruit cake and i am sick of making single batches. thanks in advance to you all

If you know that you can get parts or repairs if needed, and find a good price, I don't think it really matters which one you get - both of them are good, hard-working machines. Acceptable were a bunch of others although the viking had problems with beater retention. And some mixers died mixing bread. |

thankyou to all who gave me some information i had an idea that the two models that i chose were about the best on the market now i think it is going to come down to who has the best price and the strongest motor but that is up to me i suppose! once again thankyou to all who replied
