They are not the same things. One is induction and one not.

Anyone have or of have used one ? Debating whether the single cooktop
or single WOK version.

Being an American the only time I've even seen an induction burner is in an
institutional setting. My suggestion is to get the built-in one, use it
freestanding, then drop it into the counter of your new kitchen. This may
only be possible with the induction one, which itself generates no heat.

I bought a Cooktek drop-in unit, then made a box of 1x6 lumber for use
during remodeling. Put a piece of masonite on the top. Be sure to allow
enough depth for the control panel and the cable that exits the back of
the control panel.

I bought the 3500 Watt unit, and used it in my laundry room. I made a
pig-tail adapter to attach it to my dryer outlet. The entire project
cost around $30 (box and pig tail adapter).

By the way, the Cooktek 3500 watt unit screams! The unit boils water
three times faster than the 18K BTU burners on my Bluestar range.
