I have a 7 year old Sears Ultra wash dishwasher. Recently the upper
arm stopped rotating. The lower arm rotates normally. Some water
comes out of the upper arm but only a strong dribble. I have removed
the upper arm and all tubing down to and including the filter. I have
clean all parts and ensured nothing is plugged up. I have also added
several gallons of water to the base while it was running to ensure the
unit has enough water. Nothing seems to work.

I removed the lower arm and the tubing to the upper arm and ran the
pump. The water on the discharge of the pump was about 12" high.

I was going to take the pump apart, but I have to remove the dishwasher
to get the pump out the bottom. Is there anything else I should look
at? Is the pump servicable or do you just replace it?
