Default range hood insert w/ remote blower

I'm trying to design a kitchen remodel with a new custom
range hood, at least 600cfm, with an insert. It should
be as quiet as possible, so I'm led to believe that at
remote blower is the way to go. Also, the roof vent is
in the front of the house, so I'm led to believe that
an in-line blower will give essentially the same results
with a cleaner look on the rooftop.

In looking around for a hood insert and in-line remote
blower, what I have come up with so far is "Fantech"
and "Abbaka".

Anybody out there have any advice or experience with
either Fantech or Abbaka?

Thanks,

Bill
