I am thinking of buying a tilia foodsaver from best direct shopping

does it really do as it says in the infomercial. As I have owned a
different make which wasn't any good. It certainly couldn't crush cans

We use it daily and love it.
Makes a great ice bag too - perfect for the odd sprain or headache.
We use both pre made and roll bags, both work fine.
The cannisters are a great way to keep parsley, celery and cilantro.
Celery stays crisp for 2 weeks. Maybe longer, but we never had celery
last longer.

The wide mouth Bell jars canning jar sealer is great. Wait for a yard
sale and buy Bell jars for a nickel or so. The small mouth jar sealer
doesn't work well for us including a replacement Tilia sent us.

For the regular Ball jar sealer, warm your lids first and then use a
second lid to add some bulk to the lids. I heat some water in the
microwave and drop the lids into it and let them sit for a few
minutes.
