Does anyone have expeirence of the enamel flaking from the top of a recently installed unit and leaving a rust spot? My own personal cooker is an Aga and even after 8 years of constant use, none of the enamel has flaked off. I would contact them and find out how long the enamel is under warranty. If its no longer covered you can get it re-enamaled fairly cheaply. Look up enamaling in your local area and try seeing if companies can beat your best price. When you said off the top, which part do you mean? If for instance you have 3 grills and 1 is flaking, it may be worth getting all of them sorted at the same time.
