Hi I would appreciate hearing opinions on using espresso pods and how long they appear to be fresh. They appear to be fresh forever, especially if they are nicely packaged. However, in reality, they are stale before leaving the fatory. -- In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military-industrial complex. As others have stated, the longer that coffee has been ground, the more chance it has to not taste fresh anymore. But, there's also the convenience and clean-up of pods to consider as well, so you might decide on those if the taste seems to be close enough. I know of a few people that don't mind the difference because of this. Are you looking for something to fill your mornings with, or something to start off as a craft, like cooking can be thought of? Peter Allen Hi Peter I have tasted coffee from pods only in restaurants that that serve pod espresso in quantity and it is better in my opinion than most coffee shop products. My own roasted beans were considerably better but i dont roast anymore. I usually go to coffee shops in the morning for social reasons but at times long for a really good espresso and would like the convenience of a pod. I dont want to buy coffe equipment to test am trying to find out what others have experinced with intermittent use. Thanks Sandy |
