Default Looking for highest quality caramels available

My wife can't eat chocolate right now. I relied on this list
previously to search out good chocolate brands from Europe. I bought
$100 chocolate boxes that were better than anything we had
previously. But as I said, she can't eat chocolate right now.

So, does anyone know if there's an online company that makes the
highest quality caramels? I buy locally from a farmer that makes his
own with about 4x the amount of butter you can get in good stores, so
those are absolutely stunning. But he's one guy and he's out of stock
until next summer.

My price range is under $40 per lb.

Anyone know where to buy online?

Thanks!

Don

You should find a recipe and make it yourself- it's quite easy to make

Yes, it is just boiling sugar in a bit of water till it is the
darkness you like, then add warm cream and butter. You need to adjust
the quantities till you get the product you like, and a good
thermometer helps.

I travel for business too much to make candy. I'm going to poke
around on www.seventypercent.com to see who they suggest.
