Hi guys!
A couple of very good friends of mine over here in Yorkshire are flying to NYC on Monady for a few days. They're both big real ale fans. Which bars should they visit? I'm thinking in terms of beers from U.S. micros. Thanks for your help. Cheers! -- Regards Mike mikedotroebuckatgmxdotnet |

U.S.micros. A great place to start is this website: http://www.pubcrawler.com/Template/index.cfm Click on New York, look under Beer Bars, and try places that are highly rated by other maniacs like us. |

You should also let them know (if they don't already) that the US isn't absolutely ga-ga over cask ales, so many very fine craft-brewed beers are available in bottles and in kegs. Yes. I'm just doing my part. Alex's site is a good piece of the pie. And one I can point people too without stirring up things politically. -- Lew Bryson "As for talking shit in this NG, Lew, you're the undisputed king, and that's no SHITE." -- Bob Skilnik, 1/31/02 www.lewbryson.com |
