There was a good article about the brew pub scene in Portland, OR. According to the article the city has 28 brewpubs. Tom |

Actually, it said 28 breweries. And I always have to wonder where
numbers like that come from. And what "Portland" means in relationship to the numbers. But you can do your own count, and not just for Portland. A co-worker of mine has built one of the better map-based sites for Oregon and Washington breweries. http://www.placemapper.com/ --Jeff Frane |

Whoever does beermapping must have a fair bit of time on his hands, though. I'll really like seeing places like London and Manchester, and can't wait until continental Europe is mapped like this too. -- dgs |

Very cool, and I'd recommend to my co-worker that he expand his list
beyond breweries and brewpubs, if he's got the energy. What would they do without the Google api? --Jeff Frane |

Which site is your site dgs?
I only ask, because I'm the guy doing beermapping.com. Please update me on any closed breweries that you might come across. http://beermapping.com/contact-us Thanks, Jonathan |
