Beer Drinker of the Year Contest...Still Time
There's still time to apply to be Beer Drinker of the Year. Denver's
Wynkoop Brewing Co. is looking to crown the most passionate, knowledgeable beer lover in the country. If that's you, just e-mail your beer resume -- with your beer-drinking philosophy and details highlighting your passion -- to (deadline is Dec. 31). Three finalists will be flown to Denver for the finals on Feb. 25. The winner gets $250 worth of beer from his or her favorite brewpub or beer bar, which will receive an honorary plaque with the winner's name on it. For details, go to www.wynkoop.com. (Bob Batz)

Beer Drinker of the Year Contest...Still Time
Yeah, yeah, yeah, but according to the contest rules I'm
ineligible.............. Besides which, I'd burn an AWFUL lot of gas commuting to and from my "favorite" brewpub to collect (three hours one way).
