750ml corked bottle
8% ABV Poured a brilliantly clear light copper. Didn't appear to be bottle conditioned. Quickly dissapating head. A bit of burnt sugar aroma with some alcohol. A malty beer with some sugary sweetness and a slight hint of Belgian funk. Warming. Not spectacular, but very drinkable. ----------------------------------------------------- Pete Clouston Lawrence (KS) Brewers Guild http://www.sunflower.com/~homebrew |

I'd had it before and liked it, but recently grabbed one of the new ones that just showed up in KS within the last 2 months. bacteria it must have been. wasn't soured, but was very very very carbonated, bit of a gusher but impossible to pour. and dry as a bone, virtually no malt flavor. Just almost totally attenuated out. |
