Sorry, don't have a substitute for you, but just had to say that I ran
across this beer a while back on sale at a local liquor store, so gave
it a try.

Beautiful color and head retention, and nice, full-bodied flavor. An
unexpectedly excellent beer. Doesn't remind me of Negro Modelo (which
I always order at our favorite Mexican restaurant) and the color or
flavor doesn't seem like any bock or doppelbock I've had.
