My favorite light beer is Augustiner Dunkel, although, in a
pinch, I'll drink Dinkel Acker Dark. If you think I'm crazy for calling them "light" beers, consider that my favorite dark is Young's Double Chocolate. Some of the local distributors have merged, and so they've dropped several slow sellers, including Augustiner Dunkel, but I can still find Dinkel Acker Dark. About the only other Munich Dunkel I can find is Spaten Optimator, but it pales in comparison to the other two, IMHO. Any suggestions for other dunkels or stouts I should try? -- Al in Dallas |

Any suggestions for other dunkels or stouts I should try? I assume that by "Al in Dallas" you're in Dallas. I'm so perceptive that way.
