Default Is there tax on beer sent from overseas?

Hello

Is there customs tax on having beer shipped from overseas for
individual buyers (e.g., from Belgium-BeerMania in Brussels)
to the US?

Anyone can share their experience w/ this.

THANK YOU.

Good day.

Anybody and everybody who imports anything into the U.S. is subject to
paying customs duties on those goods. It doesn't matter if you're a company
that does importing, or some guy in Boise who ordered a shipment of
something.

There are exemptions for individuals, but I've only encountered them when
I've been traveling and have returned from abroad. Don't know about
shipments. Best way to find out is the wander on over to the US Customs
Service web site and see what they say.
