I also really like Bell's Sparking Ale, which has the champagne brightness of Duvel, and a great hops kick to boot. Piraat hoppy? I guess this is a game of semantics since I distinguish "hoppy" from "containing evidence of hops." |

Bruce, remember the Belgians don't see too many IPA's hopped to US levels, so the standard is not the way we think of it there. To help remedy that, I'm taking Mash Hash Hoppy Hour IPA, Three Floyd's Alpha King, as well as fresh Bigfoot, Storm King and Old Horizontal across the pond tomorrow. Call it a Cultural Exchange.
