Jezus Christ !!
What a beer this is. Sipping at this moment and really couldn't resist to out my enjoyment !!! This is Belgian Style like it should be......................... http://www.heavyweight-brewing.com/beers.html Quote: "Lunacy is brewed exclusively with Belgian Pilsner malt, Styrian and English Goldings hops and freshly ground coriander. It begins its life with a long patient boil and is cast into the fermenter at 17.5 P. It then undergoes a vigorous fermentation and extended cold conditioning. After bottling, the beer receives an additional 2 week warm rest before it is released. This yields a surprisingly refreshing brew with spicy notes, sweet malt and subtle fruit. 7.7% ABV" Cheers and a merry X-mas to all !! -- \\// (oo) ---oO-()-Oo----------------------------------------------- Filip Geerts / ICQ#: 26619207 City: Brugge Belgium Europe URL: http://users.pandora.be/filip.geerts or http://beerlink.cjb.net / http://board.to/bbb ------------------------------------------------------------ |

closer to 9%! It was a from a special batch! Bill Coleman Yes, that's the bottle. I knew it was stronger than mentioned. (Well....you know afterwards in the head :-)) Great beer Bill. Thanks. A bit of lack of carbonation/foam but in it's whole a truely perfect brew. Very coriander spicy too and it aged gracefully ! Why not get Heavyweight into the equation? Not gonna happen. Tom can just barely handle the sales he has in a 250 mile radius. I'm sure he doesn't want to tackle California. Just too much for one guy. Maybe a cooperative venture... Dogfish Head also is available through a mail order site called liquidsolutions.biz -- another possible outlet for Tom. That's a thought. nk.net... If anyone finds the recipe for a five gallon of this and/or the Dogfish Head I'd appreciate it You bet! First, go to this website for directions: www.beeryard.com Then e-mail them from the website, and tell them you'd like to get a sixtel of Lunacy. Drive there, pay Matt, get the sixtel, go home, and drink it while you're thinking about what your new hobby will be! -- Lew Bryson "GOOD or SHITE?" -- Michael Jackson, "Thriller", 1982 www.lewbryson.com |
