Hi,
I've got a small keg (5 litres I think) of becks. It has a built in tap that pulls out from the side of the keg. The keg was left to stand for a couple of days, but I still get loads of foam into the glass, no matter how slowly I tap it, and running it down the side of the glass makes no noticable difference. I thought it might just be the 1st couple of glassfuls, but it seems not. any advice? Rob |

Rob cool it right down before trying again? once you pour some beer off, the pressure in the keg will be lower, so the foaming should diminish. or is there a valve on top to release some more of the gas without wasting more beer in foam? (but watch out for flying beer! - cover the top valve with a wet cloth or summat) good luck, sorry that none of this will make the Becks taste any more exciting ;~) MikeMcG |
