Default Beer storage life question...

How long can refrigerated canned beer be kept? It's been refrigerated
for 10 months.

Well, it can be "kept" forever, I guess (tho' in the old days of steel
cans, they used to rust out eventually). Oh, did you want to drink it?
That's another question. How long is it "drinkable"? They used to say
that nothing in old beer is bad enough to kill you, so that's a plus.
With beer, no "rule of thumb" is ever all-inclusive, BUT with canned
beers it's safe to assume you've got an American light lager (or
something similar brewed in Canada or Europe), that was pastuerized and
should have been consumed within the first 3 months. Refrigerating it
and, since it's been in a can, kept out of light, isn't really going to
help preserve this beer much but chances are you won't find anything
wrong with it, either. Most canned beer is drank ice cold and from the
can, so you won't notice many "off" flavors or be able to notice any
cloudiness that is the typical of old beer.
