This stuff called Steel Reserve High Gravity 211 recently showed up at
Wal*Mart. It is 8.1% alcohol and is about as cheap as any beer they have. I found that the company is owned by Miller. I tried it, and it definitely has a "strong beer taste," and while it's no Maudite, it doesn't taste as bad as I expected. Is "cheap strong beer" going to be a new emerging market in the US? |

The malt liquor I'm familiar with, Colt 45 is not as strong as 8.1%, and it
doesn't taste as much like expensive strong beer as Steel Reserve. "Steve Jackson" wrote in message news:GxoJh.11672$mh7.2195@trnddc04... "KokomoKid" wrote in message ...
