Dave Kelley, a longtime reader and poster of this beer forum, left us on
Thursday. He collapsed while jogging here in Austin, and was unable to
be revived. He was a freelance writer for the new Draft magazine,
Southwest Brewing News, Boating World, as well as the automotive
reporter on the local Fox station, and in Detroit.
.. He and his wife were regulars at our favorite bar, The Ginger Man, and
as you have read, one of his favorites was Sierra Nevada Celebration.

Dave will truly be missed.

Never knew of him, but I raise a brew in toast to this gentleman...

We lose too many of our friends too soon. I still mourn the loss of
Jerry Yungmann, of Bullpepper's and Fratelli's in San Antonio, at way
too young an age also. And from what I read on the site you posted,
Dave and Jerry probably would have been great friends.

Thanks, Frank.
