Hi all-
I am in search of the best place to purchase 1/6bl and 1/4bl filled kegs that will fit in my kegerator (1/2bl kegs are too big). I am looking for any place that sells either size filled keg. I will report on what I have found so far: Marty's in Newton (probably the one in Allston too) sells 1/4bl Sam Adams Boston Lager, 1/6bl Dogfishhead 60 minute, and 1/6bl Harpoon IPA. Downtown Wine & Spirits in Somerville sells 1/6bl Smuttynose IPA and 1/6bl Harpoon IPA too (I think). Plus some others too, but nothing that blows me away... just forget. The SpiritHaus in Amherst is the only place that really comes close to blowing me away: http://www.spirithaus.com/results?pr...BwWxVa&mv_pc=7 then I can see Table & Vine in Northampton carries 1/6bl of Harpoon UFO: http://www.tableandvine.com/search.html?query=keg Not my favorite beer, but maybe my wife would appreciate that. I have also been told the guys at "the tap" in haverhill will fill empty corny kegs (supposedly illegal for brewerys in massachusetts to do, but maybe because it's so close to the new hampshire border?) Best, Alf |
