The bride and i are going from our home here in Las Vegas
way down to Austin TX to give a van to our son. On the way, the bride has decided we need to visit Carlsbad NM and the caves. I understand that is also where Danny Gaulden hangs his hat, so we'll probably eat a little 'que while there. I'll report back on our findings, but suspect that from all the tributes we've heard over the years, it should be somewhere between excellent and superb. Any recommendations about what we should try? Nonnymus --Well I liked the banana splits, but he don't do them anymoreg For me I liked the brisket point. You gotta ask for it. The ribs are great too. He doesn't (or didn't) do chicken but has Turkey breast. He had a big chopped brisket that was good too. For sure try the ribs and brisket. James A. "Big Jim" Whitten www.lazyq.com |
