Why are you unable to understand that the group that you seem to want to
participate has, as a long standing custom, rules? One of the rules is
that interspersed posting is preferred. Regular participants in this
group frequently try to get top posters to adopt the rules of the group.
The smart ones do. The others end up talking to themselves because no
one else reads their posts.

Apparently enough of them read these posts to comment endlessly on how
"wrong" they are.

I have to admit, it seems most anything of even a very small amount of
insignificance is enough to generate an endless diatribe by many of the
"regulars" here. When are you people going to learn that your chains are
just being yanked for the fun of it? Man, I wish I could find trout as
eager to take the bait. . .

I hope you enjoy talking to a vacuum.

I did. Last week.

It's your choice. Do what you want. With the attitude you are displaying
you will find this ng to be very unresponsive.

I only read his posts when SOMEONE ELSE quotes them. ;-))

I only read them when somebody is careless enough to include his
handle. I filter the text as well as the sender.

No he is responding to someone who knows how to read and write and
obviously cares nothing about popularity with the likes of you. Get a
dictionary.

HAND

Matthew,
You are writing to someone who claims to have been reading this group
for several years but was disappointed to find that his top posting was
unpopular. Pick smaller words. HTH.

Its funny but after reading this thread I'm beginning to realize there is
something of a parallel afb universe out there in which a bunch of people
are all slapping each other on the backs for being the good and tolerant
intellectual BBQ gurus while the rest of us are just rude and intolerant
backcountry hicks with nothing good to say about anything or anybody.

Thank God I don't visit this "good" afb often. I prefer the old "evil" afb
by far.

There is always a battle between the forces of good and evil.
Appearently the evil ones are winning because the only time we hear from
the good guys is when they are complaining. Then there is the
positional eunuch that we know as Graeme.
