Default GRILLED BUFFALO RIB EYES WITH CANADIAN CAMPFIRE BEANS

GRILLED BUFFALO RIB EYES WITH CANADIAN CAMPFIRE BEANS

1. Ingredients needed 4 (10-ounce) buffalo rib-eye steaks (you can
use beef, just choose lean steaks)
2. 1/2 cup Canadian whiskey
3. 1/4 cup maple syrup
4. 1/4 cup roughly chopped shallots
5. 1/4 cup canola oil
6. 2 tablespoons whole grain mustard
7. 1 teaspoon cracked black peppercorns
8. 1/2 teaspoon salt

In a bowl, combine the remaining ingredients. Pour into the bag with
the steaks and seal the bag. Place in the refrigerator to marinate for
2 to 4 hours, turning the bag occasionally to coat the meat evenly. If
you use a Foodsaver, you can reduce the marinate time.

Preheat your grill. To be authentic, you will want mesquite charcoal.

Remove the steaks from the bag and pat dry. Discard the marinade. Grill
until medium-rare, about 3 to 4 minutes per side. Remove from your
grill and immediately serve with the Cowboy Baked Beans.

Yield: 4 servings

Remaining after what?

Pour into the bag with
the steaks and seal the bag.

Pour what?
Where did the bag come from and how did the steaks get into it?

Place in the refrigerator to marinate for
2 to 4 hours, turning the bag occasionally to coat the meat evenly. If
you use a Foodsaver, you can reduce the marinate time.

Preheat your grill.

Any particular temperature?

To be authentic, you will want mesquite charcoal.

Remove the steaks from the bag and pat dry. Discard the marinade. Grill

How are Cowboy Baked Beans made?

I suppose it looks like I'm picking on you. Please don't take it
personally. When I post a recipe, I proofread it carefully, but almost
always not carefully enough. I usually post before I irradicate the last
error.

I once had a cookbook for Chinese dishes that numbered the ingredients
and then gave instructions referring to the numbers. One such recipe had
an instruction that read:

Rinse item 9 well and set aside.

Item 9 was not referenced again. A quick look at the ingredients list
revealed:

9) 1/2 cup sugar.

So it seems that the instructions were correct.
