Default Ping Graeme in London

Graeme,

Haven't spoken to you for a while (went back to lurking and also
started looking in the Barbecue News Forums). Had to change my log-in,
but it's Gavin from Leytonstone. Just making sure you're OK after
yesterday's events.

Stay safe, mate & keep cooking!

All the best

Gavin

Cheers for the message of goodwill, Gavin. Thankfully I live in Barnet and
journey to Watford each day so I was well away from the effected area. I was
to attend an AGM in Central London on Wednesday but I managed to wriggle out
of it.

I was caught up in the Docklands attack a few years ago as I lived on The
Isle of Dogs at the time. I happened to share a house with a Northern Irish
girl who had the pleasure of being hauled in to Paddington nick for 24 hours
for questioning. The hassle that attack caused was horrendous and the
knock-on lasted for years.

You'll have the Olympic stadium on your doorstep soon:-)

I'm happy you were so far away from it.

Re the Olympics - fortunately we have been on the verge of putting our
house up for sale for about a year. Glad we procrastinated for so long
now!

All the best,
Gavin
