Default Fellowship Of the Bikers

A coupla weeks ago, a PacificNorthwest motorcycle club decided to make
Dave's BBQ their ride destination. We had guys show up from all over the
northwest. Much like AFB, many had emailed for years over Usenet, but had
never met. Someone had heard of Dave's, and suggested it as a central
location to ride to.

Man, it was FUUUUNNNNN. The guys and SWMBOs were terrific guests, and
seemed to really enjoy themselves. And talk about great word-of-mouth
gettin' spread around!!!!! Here's the main page which contains the photo
gallery of their visit.

That's way too cool, Dave. I think Aileen and I are due to saddle up the ST
and head out your way. With any luck she'll have her license and her own
bike by then.

Sometimes the best destinations are places to eat.
My motto--eat to ride--ride to eat

I've been outta touch for a few days but congratulations and you're
certainly right about the good word of mouth. I've been biking for about
40 years now and typically bikers are "stand up" folks and not what the
movie personas are. Granted there are some 1% hard cores out there but
they're few and far between.

Get ahold of that airline article yet?

Not yet, Steve. I've looked over the on-line version of the magazine for
the last 2 months, and saw nada. I'm going to see if I can order the
hard-copies of the back issues to double check. Sometimes the on-line
versions don't hold all the articles

That's very interesting. I bought my Traeger pellet grill based on a
suggestion from a fellow biker that I know from the 'Net. They have IRLs
(In Real Life) all of the time; several in the PNW area--and BBQ is of
course a great destination. Next time it comes up, I'll mention your
place (I suspect they already know about it though). Most of us ride
Harleys, but we do behave ourselves (most of the time ;-)).
