Default Gasser consensus?

Have we ever reached any kind of consensus on a good small gas grill? I'm
not up for anything that needs a trailer hitch to move, just want something
small (dare I ask for portable?) that gets hot enough to do a steak right. I
have a funny feeling I may be a candidate for a charcoal Smokey Joe as the
grilling adjunct to the WSM if a small gasser isn't feasible.

Consensus? HERE? You *are* kidding, right? ;-)

I suppose that depends on what your defination of small is. I have a
Weber Gensesis Silver B beside the WSM and am very happy with both.

Get the TEC Cherokee. It's small and gets very hot. It is expensive
though.

It's one of the few gas cookers around which let you grill with the top
raised. In my mind a necessity. In fact the instructions forbid cooking
with the lid down.

I use mine at least 4 times a week.

I find it ideal for cooking burgers and steaks for 4 people or less.

Wow......that is a bit spendy but from the reviews I've scrounged up it does
indeed seem to be "all that". Thanks.

The search led further to a Solaire "Anywhere" grill. Looks a bit more
portable than the TEC.

Interesting, both use infrared heat.
Good description of the difference:
