This sale appears to be somewhat better than the sale I ordered from.
The textured Ks are included this time. Adjusted for the box of
charcoal that is included with every order, these prices would save
me about $83 when compared to the prices I paid. However, the
charcoal has gone from
6.99/box to $9.99/box. The 90 boxes I bought with my two Ks saved me
$270 over buying now.

The price on the textured Ks look pretty good if you can resist the
upgrades:-)

Matthew

I know it runs the price up, but the upgrades are really worth the bux.
Stainless steel grills and bands especially. I sure like my gas option,
too.

Geez, thanks for reminding me.

Back in Sept, I had sent an email order to Kamado to order a new #9
and a #1 for my Daughter who wants to be able to 'cue alongside Dad.

I did get a read reciept indicating someone READ my email, but I
didn't get a reply and I've been so busy I forgot to follow up. Well
I did place my order today over the phone - probably just as well
because of the sale.

So, *IF* all goes well...come February I'll have a new #9 Mosaic and a
#1 Terra Cotta to keep my #7 company (now I just need a #3 and #5 to
have the WHOLE set!!!!).

Here's hoping the new location and new plant helps Richard & Co. keep
their schedule.

Yes, but note that under the "retail price" for the textured K's,
they've put in the price of the Mosiac's- making the sale the look $100
better than it really is (altho' the retail TOTAL seems to be correct.)

Now that we're going back to work, a good friend who's been waiting to
get a transfer before buying his K is toying with getting one now rather
than wait (tho' he's dropped down to a textured #5 from a mosiac #9-
unemployment will do that to ya g) and when I told him about the sale
he was somewhat interested. "Well, I thought I'd wait until the
spring." "PERFECT", I said, "because if you order it now, you'll never
get it until then!"

Does anyone have a link to a photo of a BLACK textured K? I thought I
used to be able to find one on their site but can't now. I bought the
red because I thought the black would be kinda dull but remember seeing
the black after my purchase and it looked good.

Nice that the "cart" is included in this sale, since I didn't buy one
with mine (since I didn't intend to "roll" it anywhere and figured
that's what a "cart" is for) but didn't realize that the "cart" is
actually more of a "stand" for the #5 and it would be nice to have the
grill up higher.

As I was telling my buddy what "extras" were essential (for a guy coming
off 9 months of unemployment)- I said just the "lump saver" ('cause the
bottom will probably drop out of the cracked ring during a long cook one
day) and the stainless grill- I mentioned- "Well, you do know that their
customer service sucks. Don't e-mail them and it takes 5 phone calls to
get one answer, right?" He gave me a funny look.

I heard that DrQ said:

I wonder if this one explodes like the "old" design.
