Barbecue (alt.food.barbecue) Discuss barbecue and grilling--southern style "low and slow" smoking of ribs, shoulders and briskets, as well as direct heat grilling of everything from burgers to salmon to vegetables.

I never got anything out of injecting (dead meat, that is) save for a big
mess. Many competition Q'ers inject pure canola oil. Many fried turkey
inoculations are chiefly butter.
Grease is grease, lard is lard and never the twain shall meet.
Why TF not bacon grease? Sure is more flavorful than canola.

You're on your own. I don't make love to 'em. I just cook 'em.
