Default Dave Bugg's Place

Most of you don't know me, as I don't usually post here. However, I made it
to Wenatchee last weekend and had the pleasure to meet a few people from
this news group and some from another e mail list. It was a pleasure meeting
ya'll. Big Jim is a pretty cool dude! Nice meeting you. I had to leave early
without warning and I apologize to all for that.

I got there about 2 or 3 in the afternoon on Saturday. My wife and I had
lunch there. I had a brisket sandwich and my wife had a pulled pork
sandwich. We had a side of cheese grits and some hushpuppies. I'll tell you
what....I've eaten at a lot of BBQ joints and must say that the food at
Dave's was the best I've ever eaten (not counting what I do at my house.
lol) No offense intended Dave, but we're talkin' bbq and you know how the
braggin' about that goes!!

The brisket was absolutely moist, tender, and delicious. The pork was the
same. As for the sides, well...............Hot Damn! I gotta learn to make
grits! I coulda filled up on them alone. The hush puppies were good, but
they musta been the last of what was sitting there for a while. Fortunately
I'm able to see past that and tell they were great when gotten fresh.

I can just imagine how Dave was feeling by the end of the day. That place
was BUSY! Dave, you and all your help did a fine job and I wish you much
success. Trust me..it will get easier once you get the rhythm going. Hell,
soon you'll be able to do it with your eyes closed. Thanks for everything!

If it is good enough for Kurt, it is damned good! For anyone that does not
know him, Kurt has rather impressive credentials and he knows good food.
