Hey Tom;
I just sent you a link to OFOTO.com I posted all the pics we took Saturday.
It was great fun, and lots of good people, next time (if Dave will have us)
you have to plan on getting there.

Bruce, I just viewed the photos. Thanks for sending them. Plenty of
TFM and Kili. Congrats, you two! But none of Dave's prize product??

How was your Ol' Hippie sauce received?

Wish I'd been there. It was cool and rainy here most of the weekend.
Didn't even get a chance to Q.

Tom;
Pictures of Dave's products, well, mm, there wasn't any. Yeah that's right,
G'ganna & I got there at 3:30pm There was evidence of food, a few scraps,
and when I looked in his smoker, sure enough it looked and smelled like it
had been used. He sold every morsel. God I was looking forward to a slab of
ribs, and G'ganna well she had been dreaming of some professionally done
anything after what I serve her. LOL It was a good time even though they
sold out.
I took a picture of the last people in Wenatchee to eat at Dave's on
Saturday. That is as close as I got to a pic of his product.
I lie a little there was a stainless bin with scraps in it and I got a
little piece of brisket about 1"x1", nice smoke ring, tasty rub,,,,,,,
I believe Chef Juke got a ton more pics and possibly some while there was
food to be had Big Jim was there so maybe he got a few as well.
I left a case of sauce for Dave and it appears he will be carrying it, gave
samples to everyone else, I hope they all enjoy it.
Now it's back to cooking.

We got in after golf [I had a decent game - so did Samantha], and
there was still brisket- I got one [Bugg's kid made us pay!], but Juke
hung the 'closed' sign out within 15 minutes. All the Q had been
vacuumed up. They had run out of ribs hours before.

Sausage and a little chicken was scared up a little later. That was
all she wrote for BBQ sustenance. Saara and Fos appeared with some
liquid sustenance . . . a number of us added to that so nobody died
from thirst.

It was a Swell Gathering of the Swells!

I hope we all get to see those.

I got mugged in the Parking Lot for mine . . . . . I think it was
Saara

Harry

Now it's back to cooking.

It's all hilarious to me in the very best way. Bugg sells out and can't
feed his friends who traveled from far and wide to help and wish him well.
I'd have ordered pizza and laughed my ass off when Poppa John's delivered to
the best barbecue joint on the left coast, because they'd sold out on
opening night.

What a total triumph.

Jack;
I think you hit the nail on the head. I would do the 12 hour drive one way
again.
It was special
