Default Tallahassee BBQ update

Tiny'sRegister's BBQ On Highway 20, jsut west of Capital Circle.
Went there for chicken first and went back next day for ribs. The place
seems to be run by a group of 16-24 year olds. They come off as if their
just hanging out, but they give great service.
Chicken as great, not rubbery, lots flaver, not overpowering. Great coleslaw
and very tasty Brunswick Stew. Stew was meaty with a bit of a kick. Veggies
in it were good. Ribs were meaty and moist, but I found the rub to be a bit
salty.

Gertie's BBQ on Crawfordville Rd.
Great ribs. Great smoky flavor. They say they use a mix of Oak, Hickory and
Cherry. Family run. I felt like I was eating in someone's house. Ice tea and
Lemonaid are free when you eat in. Coleslaw was with a bit of mayo and
sprinkeled with raisons.

Interesting. My Dad lives just south of Crawfordville in Shell Point.
Emailed him to see what he knows about this place. If he has not eaten
there - we will as soon as I go visit him. Thanks for the info.

This was in Tallahassee between Capital Circle (I think) and the capital,
but closer to the capital circle. I was coming from the airport. This road
turns into Adams or Monroe.
