Perhaps make a foil package of tea and sugar and place it on (or very close
to) the heating element. I've done this on the charcoal at 220-240°; it seems to work fine. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---- Louis Cohen Living la vida loca at N37° 43' 7.9" W122° 8' 42.8" "Higgins" wrote in message om... I LOVE tea-smoked chicken and duck and am trying to figure out how do it on my electric Meco bullet smoker. I have done it on gas and charcoal grills many times, but those were relatively high heat, guaranteeing the tea mixture would ignite. I keep my electric smoker down around 160-170, and I think it goes maybe as high as 220 degrees. To get wood chunks to smoke I have to lean the chunks up against the elemen. How would I do it with the tea-sugar mixture???? Will it burn really fast, or slow??? Thanks! |
