Default OT: Mt. St. Helens alert

Well, they're now saying that St. Helens may erupt in the next 24
hours and that some evacuations have taken place. They're still
allowing folks within 10 miles of it so they don't seem to think that
it's going to be a major one.

Good luck to everyone out there!

Steve;
I am watching the web cam as we speak,(type) nothing too major but they did
evac the folks that were milling around where the camera is (about 5 miles
NW). I am a little concerned about road closures as we will need to drive to
Portland, then up the Columbia to hiway 97 the up to Wenatchee.
Having said that I think Wenatchee is safe, looks to be a fur piece over the
hills to the volcano.
Here is the link to the camera, its about as live as I can find, updated
stills every 5 minutes.

I'll be Damned if a volcano will keep us from Dave's Grand Opening.

They didn't think the big one was going to be a major one, either.

It looks like someone is jealous over another "smoker" in the state.
Good luck in your venture Dave.
