Does anyone know where I might find a temperature gauge for a New
Braunfels Hondo Smoker/Grill? I am referring to the temp guage on the
door of the smoke chamber. Any help is greatly appreciated...thanks!

Hi Billy

I took a nail to the plug that was in it and then inserted a long turkey
frying thermometer that goes to 450º F. Gets the part that reads the temp
right down to grate level.

I grabbed a $14 job at Walmart, said right on the package it was for
New Braunfels. 7/8" hole. I think it was from Grill Masters, I will
check and post again when I get home.

Ok, so here is the information...

The Grill Care Company
Heavy Duty Temperatur Gauge
$15 at Wall mart, just on a peg hook, nothing special, blue backboard in
a plastic case. Says it "Fits mose Smokers and other Outdoor Charcoal
Cooking Pits including Brinkmann and New Braunfels"

The part number is 700-5208 or 701-5204 and Keanall Products, Inc in
Ardmore TN seems to be the parent company.

If you have no luck, I beleive the wall mart here still has some I could
getit for you and ship it to you.
