OK all, I am going to Dallas next month for a week
and need ya'll to give me some ideas for good places to eat. Maybe some sites to see too. I'll be taking my brand new '04 F150 Supecrew for it's first "real" test drive, so I'll have plenty of room to bring back any goodies I pick up along the way. Last time on a roadtrip with my regular cab F150 I had so much crap piled in there was hardly any room for me. TIA -- BigDog To E-mail me, you know what to do. |

Dallas is pretty big, depends on what you like. If you want a dive with
great Q Smokey John's on Mockingbird is my favorite. If you want a $100 Pan-Asian fusion dinner I'd suggest Steel. If you want a cowboyish experience then the Ft. Worth Stockyards. Both cities have good art museums but Ft. Wotrth gets the nod, and their zoo is a million times better. If you want haute shopping check out the Galleria or the original Neiman-Marecus downtown, but I'm guessing a guy proud of a Supercrew truck isn't gonna want haute coture shopping. The lakes have lots of partying on weekends. Dallas has the best restaurants in the state (except BBQ, gotta go to central TX for that). What do you like? "BigDog" wrote in message ...
