Does anybody know anything about the Char-broil Stainless Steel Terrace
series (or Thermos brand - I think they are both made by Char-Broil) gas grills? How about the Char-Broil Commercial Series? It has cast brass burners with a lifetime warranty. I am also looking at the Weber Genesis Silver B or C. I want to stay under $ 500. Any advice? |

Get the Weber Silver B and support your nation. If your stuck for cash, the Coleman grills are a bargain and well made. The Brinkman's, Char Broil and Jenn Aire are junk. |

The Char-Broils are too flimsy for extended service. Support the USA and buy the Weber Silver B. If your cash strapped, buy a Coleman. Good quality and capacity. |

It lives outside, withoug a cover here in central MA. I'm quite happy with it and its ruggedness. Matthew -- If the war in Iraq was over oil, we lost. |

Three tips for you IMHO 1. Buy the Weber 2. Read the archives of this newsgroup and you'll see that you're question of "I'm looking at brand X vs. Weber" is asked hundreds of times each year over and over. Invariably, the consensus is to buy the Weber. 3. If you still haven't decided after step 1 and 2, buy the Weber. Why you ask? Because they work well, are moderately priced, good customer service, etc. Now if all you're going to do is grill a few burgers or hot dogs 5 times a summer, buy the cheapest thing you can find, it won't matter anyway. If you're looking to impress your neighbors, buy whatever brand is most expensive looking |
