Not likely unless it's a cold smoker and the smoke is pumped in externally. I wondering how you/they even got a gas grill (w/lid?) in that same space. I guess you could get a small one in there, if you don't mind smoke blowing at at you. -sw |

It's pretty obvious (if you think about it) that the gas grill sat in the hole with the grilling surface a couple inches above the top of the hole, to allow access to the grill controls. Why not look at www.primogrill.com and look at their oval grill?

Does anyone make a smoker that will fit in this hole? With those dimensions, ya ain't got much space to work with. I'd close the hole off and set me a good sized smoker beside it, usin it as a table for meats, tools, what not. -- -frohe Life is too short to be in a hurry |

Does anyone make a smoker that will fit in this hole? I don't know about a smoker, but how about a built-in charcoal grill? Something like this: http://www.bbqgalore.com/store/item.bbq?invky=5823520 It's approximately 32 inches wide, not indicated on the web site. I've got the cart version. Other similar options: http://www.bbqgalore.com/store/item.bbq?invky=5831693 http://www.bbqgalore.com/store/item.bbq?invky=5832089 -- Yip |

I was hoping somebody out there made a gas grill with a smoker
attachment--or maybe an electric smoker--that would fit in a rectangular hole. But maybe the best thing to do is to use an electric bullet smoker and just throw another gas grill in the hole.
