Default Brisket Prices

Late last year briskete went from 1.12/# to 1.48 in WalMart for large
10-14# plastic covered cuts. Despite the angry cow bit, stuff is
still at 1.48. Anybody seen it at lower prices at any large chain
store?

Local slaughter house also gets 2.49/# for their whole fresh hams,
15-20# range. Is that a prevalent price for WFH. The WalMart version
has 23% salt/water/sugar added.

Getting time to uncover the smoker. Also looking forward to the local
festivals-several have smoked meat sandwiches and entrees. The pork
and beef producers have booths at several of the larger fairs. Time
to get out the PEETA tshirts also.
