Default report on 1st of season

Well, I could have let it go a little longer, the smoke ring was
wonderful, nice bark...but it didn't pull in the center as nicely as
it could have...but thats what I get for not getting my polder out of
the storage unit last week. gotta get my supplies out this weekend.
Anyway, it pulled mostly nicely and the beef is simmering in a nice
tomato sauce with a bunch of chopped tomatoes, onions, peppers garlic
and a decent burgandy (can't drink it anymore might as well cook with
it). Not bad at all after several months off....YAY! Good job lil
Joey! He's all tucked in for the night, expecting rain in the
morning....

Good job Jeanine and welcome back. As soon as I finish reading the news
groups I'm going to make some cole slaw and get ready to do some ribs on
the NBSS. Probably throw some hot dogs on as well.

Good job Jeanine and welcome back. As soon as I finish reading the news

Thanks...Hmmmmmm ribs....might have to leave the house today...I know
that tuesday I'm gonna do a brined chicken. I get of work at 1pm and
have a friend in need of home cooking coming over. The slaw sounds
like a good idea...
(mixing up some of chuch's brine right now.....Sigh, miss ya chuch!
